Family is, and always has been, first and foremost for me. I have two daughters and two step-sons with my wife of more than eleven years, Stacy. When I first left Texas to train in California, my family was the hardest thing to leave, but they gave me the motivation to keep working and they continue to drive me to be my best. The reason I am a professional fighter is to make my parents proud and to leave a legacy for my children.
Outside of the ring I am always striving to learn. I love to watch the Discovery Channel and try to figure out how things work. I am a huge history buff too, and the History Channel is another of my favorites. Before I became a fighter I was a contractor, and the constructionprocess is still really interesting to me. Along with technology in general, video production is one of my newest interests, and I hope to pursue it further in the future.
